Aquios Labs has developed a revolutionary new technology that enables water-based vaping. For the first time ever, the power of water has been harnessed in vaping to deliver smoother vapour, faster satisfaction, and purer flavours. This May, our team had the opportunity to join Wales-based In It Together Festival and gather valuable customer feedback in-person.
In It Together was organized by Welsh promoters Escape Records, with a capacity of 40,000 attendees. Aquios Labs was an official festival partner and was the sole vaping brand present.
Over the course of the 3-day festival, the Aquios Labs team sold over 8,000 vapes, marking a huge success in terms of brand recognition and ROI.
COMMUNICATION & BRAND VISIBILITY
Aquios Labs had the opportunity to meet thousands of festival attendees and interact with artists performing on stages each day. The team spent time attending different tents with live music from House to Pop, allowing festival-goers to access Aquios products and branding throughout the event.
The team connected with new clients, increasing brand visibility and maximising exposure from the branded Aquios stand, right up into a crowd of 40,000 people. This unique festival-wide interaction with consumers in a highly targeted environment allowed for excellent content creation opportunities, while ensuring ROI through on-site sales.
As an official festival partner, Aquios was able to connect with influencers such as Andrew Biggie Morris, a well-known Welsh comedian, who took the brand to social media and reviewed Aquios products at the event, significantly increasing online engagement.
Additionally, Aquios Labs had an eye-catching branded area, acting as a main point of sale and place for new customers to experience the Aquios brand. Engagement was increased by activities such as the “gifted spinning wheel”, allowing consumers to win free Aquios gifts alongside their purchased vapes. The Aquios stand was adjacent to the main stage where all festival attendees gathered each day, ensuring maximum visibility.
Aquios Labs can proudly boast of producing the first 95% consumer recyclable disposable vape. At the In It Together Festival, most consumers recycled their vapes at our stand.
Leveraging the capacity of 40,000 consumers at the Festival, Aquios Labs managed to educate and showcase the brand’s focus on sustainability and consumer recycling. Every new consumer at the Aquios stand was given a thorough understanding of the Aquios brand identity, in a way that is uncommon in the vaping industry.
The Aquios stand was set up right outside the main attractions of the Festival, such as the big eye and Speed which were the biggest and most busiest rides at the festival. This allowed continuous flow of customers each day as it was so easy for them to remember and relocate due to the bright gazeebo, uniform and banners located at the stand.
Aquios successfully engaged with new clients on a daily basis, establishing a strong customer service approach that fostered long-term client relationships and increased sales. Our product received valuable feedback and reviews from various individuals, effectively leveraging word-of-mouth marketing. In It Together Festival proved to be a resounding success, providing us with a platform to fully explore our potential for the Summer of 2023 and beyond.
This event also helped us identify our strengths and weaknesses, enabling our team to better prepare for future festivals and events. Moving forward, we will ensure that we have an ample supply of vape trays, which were an important sales multiplier at the festival. This strategy greatly enhanced our brand visibility and facilitated sales through a convenient contactless payment method, catering to the fast-paced festival environment.
